The potential home purchaser at the end of every home inspection receives an easy-to-use report containing 400 informative pages and over 160 illustrations. A simple explanation of home construction, with detailed chapters on each of the nine house systems - Roofing, Exterior, Structure, Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Insulation, Plumbing and Interior. Plus illustrations showing how each component of the house is made, how it works and how it wears out or fails.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
For clients needing to know more detail, there is background information on how each system works. Let's look at Heating for example. If a chimney liner is required, the client can find out why. They can read about heating options that eliminate the need for a chimney. They can get the whole story on converting from oil to gas or converting from hot water to forced-air. Heating is just one of ten major systems you can read about.

In the Electrical section, you can find out what service size really means. You will understand why a 100 amp service may be okay for the house. Homeowners will finally understand why blowing the same fuse over and over has nothing to do with the size of their electrical service.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
As an added feature to HomeScope's service, we include in addition to the current status of the house, four sections in our report to assist with home ownership. A Maintenance section that provides a handy chart with text setting out the recommended frequency of household maintenance so that you can catch little problems before they become big ones.

A section titled Life Cycles and Costs explains how long major components of a house last and what they are likely to cost to replace.

Also included with our report is a Filing System to allow the client to store documents related to the house purchase. A series of files to record and store your house documents including Acquisition Records, Mortgages, Insurance Policies, Property Taxes, plus costs for Utilities, Home Improvements, Major Furnishings and Appliances.

A Supplementary Section is also included to provide our clients with updated information on topics such as asbestos, lead paint, carbon monoxide, etc.

BETTER SERVICE
So, at the conclusion of the inspection, the client is given a complete owner's manual with over 160 illustrations customized to their specific house. The manual will serve them for years to come as an excellent source for reference in understanding and maintaining their most important investment, their home, while adding value to their purchase decision.
